Woolworths is committed to building the future workforce needed to assist in addressing the skills shortage of the refrigeration industry.

By 2022, we will have 40 refrigeration apprentices across our installation and service teams in Australia.

Over the next 10 -15 years, the demand for skilled refrigeration technicians is anticipated to grow substantially due to the increasing focus on sustainable refrigeration technology.

In line with the Woolworths Group 2025 Sustainability Plan, we are shifting the dial on gender and diversity and changing the face of our Refrigeration Technicians of tomorrow..
