Vipac has a NATA-accredited fan development laboratory in Melbourne – the only of its kind in the Asia-Pacific. Within are multiple fan test rigs for the design or development, airflow or acoustic performance or qualification testing of air-distribution systems and components. It caters to a wide range of products and services, including:

• Grilles, diffusers, slots, air boots, and other HVAC components;
• Louvers and roof ventilators;
• Dampers (all types – air leakage, operations, and temperature testing);
• Fans (small to large);
• Ducts and silencers for ventilation, cooling/heating, and industrial use;
• VAV terminals (singular and multiple outlet);
• Other components (e.g. air-conditioners, filters, chilled beams, appliances);
• Occupant comfort testing (ADPI, PMV, PPD); and
